About Me

A Journey to Tranquility

Welcome! I am Anya Bertolet, RYT-200. I have been teaching yoga for over seven years, and I am certified in teaching Vinyasa Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Prenatal Yoga, and Yoga for All. I also hold a certificate Sound Healing Mastery and have been playing crystal singing bowls for several years.

From 2015-2020, I taught yin, restorative, prenatal, and vinyasa classes at my local yoga studio, Yogafly.

One of my passions is bringing yoga to women as a means of empowerment on many levels of their being. Nourishing Yoga for Women was created in January 2016 to provide support and guidance for women's self-care in a safe space.

 

 At the core of my offerings:  

- integration of body, mind, and spirit;

- cultivation of a healthy body image;

- practice of gratitude, love, and wonder.

No prior yoga experience is needed to participate in my classes.

Classes

Classes are now held via Zoom and in person (Auburn).

Single online class: $15

Online 10-class pass: $140

Single in person class (group practice): $25 (please pay in person)

Single in person private practice (60 min): $100

Everyone is welcome, and there is only one fee per household for classes held over Zoom.

Yin Yoga

A mindful exploration of your body, heart, and mind in the present moment. Long-held poses provide an opportunity for gentle stretching of your deep connective tissues, calming your mind, and  balancing your energy.

 

Benefits: increased joints mobility, improved flexibility, increased circulation, reduced stress and anxiety, increased grounding and self-awareness, increased sense of well-being and peacefulness.

Restorative Yoga

A peaceful, blissful practice where we use props to make each pose comfortable and deeply relaxing.

 

Benefits: calm nervous system, reduced stress, strengthened immune system, increased grounding and self-awareness, improved sleep.

Gentle Flow

A mindful movement that links your breathing with beginner-level yoga poses in a low-paced vinyasa flow.

 

Benefits: increased strength, flexibility, and balance, improved posture and breathing, increased energy, reduced stress and anxiety, increased sense of well-being.

Yoga Nidra

A profoundly relaxing guided meditation--a journey of awareness. Your body and mind are resting while your awareness is lucid.

 

Benefits: relaxation, stress reduction, rejuvenation, improved sleep, increased grounding and self-awareness, increased sense of being alive. It is said that 30 min of Yoga Nidra equals 2-4 hours of sleep.
